As a naturopathic physician and acupuncturist I practice family medicine, meaning I have experience treating patients of all ages, from newborn infants to those over 100 years old! I have experience treating a vast array of medical conditions with both naturopathic and chinese medicine, and choose either the best style for each individual, or a combined approach depending on the patient's preference, and what I think is best suited for them. I really enjoy applying the foundations of natural medicine to each patient, and have found the results to be nothing short of amazing!
Naturopathic medicine and acupuncture are systems of medicine designed to help uncover the root of each individual's issues, rather than treating symptoms. With these two systems I have various options for assessment and treatment. As treatment I use nutrition and lifestyle counseling, chinese/western herbs, supplements, acupuncture, and homeopathy.
The combination of acupuncture and naturopathic medicine allows me a unique ability to address each patient's health concerns from a well rounded approach. I use a variety of tools to help uncover the root of each patients problem, including lab testing, physical exam, and chinese pulse and tongue diagnosis.
