After completing medical school at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and working for 10 years as a licensed physical therapist, I opened Synergy. My goal was to combine the best aspects of standard medicine with the benefits of natural and preventative medicine. Since then, I've treated many patients with all kinds of health problems - from simple colds and infections, to cancer and medical conditions that MDs have not been able to resolve. Dr. Shu earned her medical degrees at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, Arizona, and the China Medical University, Taiwan, in 1995. Dr. Shu is a licensed naturopathic doctor, and is certified in Orthopedic Prolotherapy with Platelet Rich Plasma injections via American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Integrative Pain Management. Dr. Shu is also certified in Aesthetic Medicine via American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.

As a naturopathic doctor I focus on restoring health and preventing disease. I will work to determine the root cause of your health issues and partner with you to develop an individualized program. This will emphasize using the safest, most effective, natural medicines available.
