In addition to Swedish and deep tissue work done on the table, I do Thai massage on a mat on the floor. Gentle, rhythmic compressions are applied along Thai energy pathways (sen) using thumbs, fingers, forearms, elbows, and the feet. Includes lots of passive stretching and applied yoga stretches.
My work incorporates traditional healing techniques from Thailand as well as modern Western modalities to bring your body into balance and ease. A particular interest and area of study is prenatal massage -- this work can be done either on the table or on the mat using aromatic healing herbs.
