Hello! I am a Registered Dietitian with a weight-inclusive, trauma-informed, somatic and relational approach. I provide nutrition therapy focused on helping people heal their relationships with food and their body. Using my training in the Embodied Recovery model, I help clients understand how their eating behaviors intersect with their nervous system states, and help them to safely reconnect with their body's cues and needs, deepening embodiment as a means to authentic eating disorder recovery. I also have experience working with clients diagnosed with DID and clients with feeding tubes.

Mariana comes from a household of holistic healers. Her start in this field came from her parents who used organically grown herbs and nutritional plans to cure and treat many illnesses. While living in a farm in the Dominican Republic, her parents showed her first hand the importance of a healthy and nutritious living. This grew to become a passion that she followed into her college, where she studied to become a Nutritionist and Naturopathic Doctor.

Leslie combines her nutrition knowledge and passion with motivational support to help her clients make lifestyle changes. She works with her clients and other heath care professionals to help them understand and sort out fact from fiction in relation to nutrition. By implementing small changes one healthy step at a time, she conquers small goals with her clients leading to weight change and disease management.

I started my career in clinical nutrition with a weight loss of over 70 lbs. Since then, I have obtained my graduate degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University and am currently on the board of directors of the National Lipid Association and the Clinical Nutrition Coordinator at the NYU School of Medicine. My sub-specialty is weight management (loss/gain) and heart health (cholesterol, blood pressure, familial hypercholesterolemia, diabetes and pre-diabetes, and metabolic syndrome).
