I graduated from medical school in Beijing, and learned Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from top experts in China. I have practiced TCM in Kansas City for 19 years. Beyond my proficient acupuncture skills, I am specialized in Chinese Herbology. With my profound knowledge and unique understanding of Eastern philosophy, and combining my medical background, I have lots of successful treatment cases in a variety of common and difficult disorders. These may be as common as allergies, flu, common cold, fatigue, and various pains, or as difficult as infertility, stroke, MS, or PD.

As a registered dietitian, I specialize in intuitive eating by teaching individuals to give up the diet mentality and start focusing on incorporating all foods into their diet. I also use this same philosophy among the athletes I work with and those struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating. I teach my clients to empower themselves to start saying yes to foods instead of no. Changing the way we eat is a lifestyle change but it doesn’t have to be radical either. Nutrition does not have to be difficult, but somehow we have made eating food very confusing.

As a Naturopathic Doctor, I believe in your body's innate healing potential and will work with you to harness that potential. I have been trained to identify obstacles to health and can show you how to harness your body's innate ability to heal. I understands that each person is unique and has their own story to share. I have been in practice for 26 years, and have had the privilege and honor to assist thousands of people pursuing natural and effective healthcare, and an answer for their problem. The techniques I use are gentle enough for people in almost any condition (I have treated newborns, geriatric patients, and patients with spinal metastasis).
