As both a therapist and a registered dietitian, I specialize in helping people heal their relationship with food and body-image. This might include challenges with dieting, overeating, emotional eating, stress eating, or binge eating. I teach my clients how to break free from dieting and rigid eating plans and learn how to restore healthy eating and self-care habits. I know how exhausting it can feel to have food and body on your mind all hours of the day. I also know it's possible to finally heal the non-stop food obsession and get back to living the life you're meant to live.
Many of my clients identify as "chronic dieters" and usually feel out of control of their eating behaviors. They cycle from periods of "perfect" eating into overeating or binge eating, and often blame themselves for their lack of willpower or self-control. Oftentimes, they have tried endless numbers of diets or eating plans, all ending in perceived failure.
