I provide nutrition counseling to help navigate the messages we receive and support you to make positive choices around food, exercise, & the body. Our focus is to discover what makes you feel good for a sustainable, healthy, & satisfying lifestyle. Together, we will explore behaviors & emotions around food and the body—including restriction, over-exercise, emotional and binge eating, & feelings of deprivation, shame, guilt, & regret. We will start where you are ready and collaborate to help you listen to your body, understand hunger and fullness cues, build mindfulness around your senses, & honor your personal preferences.
I specialize in nutrition for eating disorders, disordered eating, GI concerns, & adolescent health. With a compassionate and collaborative approach, I support clients in practicing intuitive eating and mindful movement. My priority is to create a warm, open, and non-judgmental environment throughout your care.
I received a Master of Science degree in Nutrition Education at Teachers College Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human & Organizational Development at Vanderbilt University. I am experienced in counseling clients with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, other specified feeding or eating disorder (OSFED), and ARFID.
