Massage therapy is not a luxury but an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Bringing the body into better alignment allows you to move, sit and sleep without the stress of nagging pain, increasing efficiency in work and play. In my practice, your massage is just that - your massage, responsive to you and your body. I am a graduate of the Brian Utting School of Massage and the Vodder School International and a lifelong learner, embracing continuing education as a means of expanding my skills.
In addition to holistic deep tissue and injury treatment massage, I specialize in oncology massage and Dr. Vodder's Manual Lymph Drainage and Combined Decongestive Therapy. This work is instrumental in the treatment of lymphedema, but is also terrific for the support of general well being.
I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, and am board certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and certified the Vodder School International. In addition, I am a charter member of the Society for Oncology Massage.
