My name is Michael Jones and I am a neuromuscular massage therapist. I was severely injured in a bicycle accident in 1988 and was MISDIAGNOSED with an incurable condition with a 35-50 percent permanent disability. Later, I found my condition was from stressed soft tissues that would not respond to any type of therapy. I searched throughout the United States for answers and put together a way to resolve difficult cases, including fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, documented by Dr.Leonard Knell, orthopedic surgeon. I have consulted with Dr. Kurt Vreeland, a chiropractor in Norwich, Vermont. He is board certified in Neurology. The information he has shared with me turn on areas of the brain that have lost function but are not permanently damaged. This along with scientific massage achieves results not previously demonstrated.
I address all areas of the body including cranial sacral therapy and viseral(organ)massage as I have taken the St. Johns neuromuscular seminars. Additionally, I share with my clients information and feedback mechanisms to allow them not to over-extend and to maintain balance of the neuromuscular system, according to their condition.
