Jill Nelson BS, LMT, CLT is the sole proprietor of Integrative Therapies in Kensington.
Jill specializes in lymphatic drainage for the treatment of lymphedema, oncology massage for adult and pediatric patients, therapeutic massage and energy healing.
Jill has extensive experience working with clients diagnosed with lymphedema, providing lymphatic drainage to reduce swelling, compression bandaging and teaching clients how to successfully manage their lymphedema independently. In addition, she has considerable experience working with patients before and after surgery (joint replacements, plastic surgery, liposuction) using lymphatic drainage to reduce bruising, swelling and pain.
A massage therapist since 2001 and a certified lymphedema therapist since 2005, Jill has over 300 hours of training in lymphatic drainage, including advanced study at the famed Foldi Clinic in Germany as well as post-op specific training.
Jill is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, with a Bachelor of Science in math and computer science. After 15 years in the computer field, Jill returned to school; she is a 1999 graduate of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, a 4 year professional program in the healing sciences.
