My private practice is about Functional Health and Peak Performance. My clients may have been injured, in pain, convalescing or in rehabilitation. They include athletes like dancers, musicians, tri-athletes and professional desk jockeys as well as stay at home parents and retirees. I address tension and pain, help restore balance to posture and movement, and re-educate body-mind connection for long-term healthy change. Concerned about painful treatment or modesty? You'll receive treatment with your comfort in mind whether you disrobe with draping (like traditional massage) or remain clothed (recommend loose fitting garments).
My belief is that bodywork and massage are not luxuries. They are functional healthcare. And the benefits are cumulative. I use a blend of techniques as the process of treatment progresses and rely upon the body's ability to self-correct while being mindful of each person's goals, sensitivities and ability to respond during treatment.
