Quick pain relief and return to normal ability is my main focus. Thoroughness in exam and treatment and has been my goal over the past 40 years. I help patients with pain, muscle spasm, stiffness and movement restrictions, often from injuries or accidents. Mostly musculoskeletal problems but not limited to those problems, I help headaches. I help patients discover the cause of their symptoms. I prefer to help those patients that are motivated to help themselves, a teamwork approach between the patient and myself. I have experienced many basic injuries and know first-hand the pain and healing of these injuries.
By careful physical examination of posture, joint movement, muscle tone, and tenderness, information is gained to improve structure and function of the body. Patients heal on their own with the proper basics that we identify through consultation and examination. We treat the patient here, not the body part.
I have a reputation for being thorough in exam (60 minutes) and treatment (30 minute appointments). I pay attention to the patient and listen carefully to best understand their issues. I believe it is very important to address the muscle component of joint problems and usually perform some massage, physiotherapy and stretching with my adjustments.
