As a chiropractor, I incorporate my background in kinesiology, physiotherapy, personal training and chiropractic into individualized treatment plans. My office provides drug free treatments that utilize the body’s innate ability to heal. My goal is to help you achieve quick relief from your pain and then to develop a strategy to stay pain free. This would often include specific exercises, dietary recommendations, and ergonomic recommendations. My ideal patient is anyone who wants to be and stay healthy. The conservative treatment we provide is focused on an active, hands-on, and natural approach to relieving and resolving the underlying problem(s) that cause pain and dysfunction. We often use SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) during our initial evaluation to find the underlying problem(s). In addition to making specific manual or instrument-assisted chiropractic adjustments to the spine and/or extremities, when necessary, we also utilize soft tissue work (Active Release Techniques - ART), Kinesiology Taping, Laser Therapy, ergonomic training, posture awareness, and relaxing intersegmental traction table therapies.
