Hello everyone, this is Dr. Yu Kang, I am a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist and nutritionist in Atlanta, GA. My acupuncture clinic is located in Decatur, GA. Medical Acupuncture & Nutrition was founded in 2007. I am specialized in women's health issues, such as fibroid, endometriosis, infertility and menopause symptoms. Because of my nutrition background, I am also experienced in many chronic conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, anxiety, depression, weight management, and cancer support. I enjoy working with patients as a team, to show them how to manage their health conditions through healthy eating and lifestyle.
I was a neurologist in China, well trained in acupuncture and herbal medicine at China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine under the most influential doctors of Oriental Medicine. I also had a one-year dietetic internship at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center-a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School.
I believe that health is a continuous goal in our life. It shouldn't be ignored until body grows sick and then submitted to doctoring. However, when illness appear, I offer a powerful treatment options, in which treatment is administered by the doctor, as well as by the patients themselves.
