Hello, I’m Dr. Yu Kang, a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and nutritionist in Decatur, GA, serving the Atlanta area. I founded Medical Acupuncture & Nutrition in 2007, specializing in women’s health issues like fibroids, endometriosis, infertility, and menopause, as well as chronic conditions including diabetes, high blood pressure, anxiety, depression, weight management, and cancer support. I work closely with patients, combining acupuncture, herbal therapy, nutrition, and lifestyle guidance to help them achieve lasting wellness and improved quality of life.
I was a neurologist in China and trained in acupuncture at the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine under the most influential doctors in Oriental Medicine. I also completed a one-year dietetic internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, enhancing my expertise in nutrition and integrative care.
