Ms. Ying Li is a National Board Certified Acupuncturist and has been practicing since 2001. Ms. Li earned her MD Degree from the Hunan Medical College of China ( formerly-Yale-in-China) and her Master's Degree in Molecular and Cellular Pathology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the US. Prior to opening her acupuncture clinic, Ms. Li worked in the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a research fellow focusing on retinal vascular lesion of diabetes and autoimmune diseases.
Acupuncture is effective for a wide spectrum of diseases and symptoms. Ms. Li has special expertise in treating various pains including back pain, disc problems, arthritis, frozen shoulder, sciatica, infertility, impotence, fatigue, stress/anxiety, insomnia, side effects of chemotherapy and weight loss. Therapeutic massage is available as well.
Prior to coming to the United States, Ms. Li worked in the Hunan Traditional Chinese Medical College as a physician. Ms. Li seeks to integrate both Eastern and Western medicine into her unique practice. In addition to acupuncture, she offers natural nutrition and health remedies.
