I have been extensively trained at undergraduate and graduate levels in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and modern science. I have been active in many TCM research projects; among them are the acupuncture on osteoarthritis, and infertility. I have held various faculty/researcher positions at many academic institutes including, Shanghai University of TCM, Maryland Institute of TCM, Johns Hopkins Medical School, and currently, the University of Maryland School of Medicine. I am a contributing author to two books on TCM. In addition, I have also authored many papers published on peer-reviewed professional journals.

I am passionate about health & wellbeing and helping people feel their best. Prior to training as an acupuncturist I worked in the field of psychology with adults and adolescents with mental health and emotional issues for over 10 years. Observing how a person's emotional health affected their physical health and how a person's physical health affected their well-being I wanted to retrain in a modality that could address both issues. I began my Acupuncture training in England and studied there for three years, before moving to the US and training for a further three years.

Maureen is a licensed acupuncturist; holds a BA degree from New School of Social Research, NY., Masters of Acupuncture degree from TAI/MUIH, Columbia, Maryland. Previousely she spent 20 years in the field of Mental Health counseling adults, young adults and children. She is Board Certified by NCCOM and NADA, certified for working with addictions, and certified with Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute to work with trauma. She is currently on faculty at MUIH, Columbia, Md. She practices acupuncture with mentally ill in Baltimore City, and has a private practice in Columbia, Md.

I enjoy caring for the well-being of my patients. I have been cited twice in Washingtonian Magazine as "amongst one of the most highly regarded practitioners in his field." I have provided practical, holistic, integrative services in acupuncture, body therapy, life/wellness coaching, Chinese herbal medicine, and counseling since the 1980s. My background also includes stress management, medical Qigong, meditation, nutrition, and exercise. I bring breadth and depth to my practice, offering comprehensive and integrative approaches to whole being wellness, treating a broad range of conditions. My medical career began at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). My studies included training in both Western and Traditional Chinese medicine. After completed my Acupuncture Master degree study in the post-graduate school of the University, I was assigned to an research position in Shanghai Research Institute of Acupuncture & Meridian. I worked there for 3 years in the field of study of Chinese Acupuncture Schools & Doctrine and attended Outpatient Clinic Center to treat patients at the same time.

Dr. Rongjuan Sun graduated from Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) with a medical degree in 1985. She has practiced TCM in China for more than 10 years before she came to the United States. Dr. Sun has worked in many different medical facilities from Maryland to New York. She has helped thousands of patients with various pains, allergies, PMS, and infertility with her comprehensive knowledge in both western and eastern medicine. Dr. Sun's caring and friendly attitude has earned her much respect with her patients.

In 2004, Beth Grubb Li received her Masters of Acupuncture degree at The Maryland University of Integrated Health in Maryland. She worked in private practice in Laurel for 14 years and currently has an office in Gaithersburg, Maryland and Germantown, Maryland. Beth is a certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist through the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association. Beth is also a member of the Maryland Acupuncture Society and a member of the National Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Alliance. Additionally, she is a Certified Animal Acupuncturist and enjoys treating people and pets.
