Providing compassionate care is the foundation of my practice. Staying true to the origins of classical Chinese medicine, with its philosophical roots embedded in the ideals of virtue, compassion, and wisdom, my approach to healing is carefully focused on the needs of each individual. This includes moving away from the pathological model of medicine that has plagued the modern healthcare system and turning my attention instead to my patients' optimal health and wellbeing. Having been in practice since 1997, my extensive education and clinical practice has deeply informed my ability to effectively treat each patient.
I do not chase after symptoms and disease, rather I gently attend to what lays beneath the surface by identifying and treating each client's unique constitution and underlying pattern. Healing often requires great courage and patience--particularly when one is on the fertility path, pregnant, or entering into their wisdom years of menopause.
The most critical component of my work is my capacity to bear witness to suffering. Understanding the importance of taking the time and necessary care to closely listen to each individual, I schedule one patient at a time. Creating a calm and comfortable setting in order to invite relaxation and restorative balance is essential.
