I am licensed to practice acupuncture in NY and PA. I see clients with a wide variety of ailments and have had great success treating back pain, IBS, infertility, depression, headaches and allergies. I work with patients with debilitating illness to control their pain and increase their comfort levels. I have trained extensively using Master Tung Points and cupping under the tutelage of Susan Johnson, Lic.Ac., M.Ac. I am certified to treat addictions through the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association; employing the NADA protocol for treating addictions of all sorts. I have practiced and taught T’ai Chi for 30 years+.
I am a Shiatsu Massage practitioner. I find combining modalities of acupuncture and Shiatsu is a very effective treatment for many clients. As acupuncture and Shiatsu work on the same principles, alternating Shiatsu with acupuncture provides my clients with a well-rounded program that diminishes illness and increases well-being.
Additionally, I am a choreographer and adjunct professor in the Dance/Theatre Department at SUNY Fredonia and I teach the Yang Short Form of T'ai Chi. Understanding how the human body moves and how chi moves through the body greatly increases my effectiveness as an acupuncture practitioner.
