In addition, Dr. Wan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Pharmacology from the University of Arizona, School of Medicine, which give her a significant insight and valuable experiences in both Eastern and Western Medicine. I, Sang Eun Kim, am a native of South Korea. Of all the Asian countries, acupuncture and Oriental medicine is most popular in my homeland and is practiced with high standards of quality. While a computer science Ph. D. student at Texas A&M University, I struggled with how I could best help other people who suffered from illness and how I could most effectively improve their longevity. Consequently, I shifted to the field of acupuncture and Oriental medicine. In 2006, I moved to Houston to complete my Master's at the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM).

I have been practicing and teaching acupuncture and oriental medicine for 30 years. I earned both an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in China. In the U.S., I started applying my trade at the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2010 and earned my acupuncture license in Texas in 2012.One of the projects in which I participated, the use of acupuncture to prevent dementia, received national and governmental awards.
