He graduated from the National Taiwan University in Taiwan (an institution equivalent to Harvard University) and has lived and practiced in the United States for 31 years. She received her Medical degree from Shanghai Second Medical University, one of best medical universities in China, Where she had been trained in both Western and Chinese medicine from 1979-1984. She then practiced as a medical doctor with experience of both Western medicine and Traditional Chinese medicine in a hospital in Shanghai China.
