Dr. Hongzhen Chen L.Ac., MD (China) has more than 25 years experience in medical area. She received her Medical degree from Shanghai Second Medical University, one of best medical universities in China, Where she had been trained in both Western and Chinese medicine from 1979-1984. She then practiced as a medical doctor with experience of both Western medicine and Traditional Chinese medicine in a hospital in Shanghai China.

A second generation acupuncturist, Ray Chernly was raised in North Texas and earned his Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine at American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. His father chartered acupuncture research for National Defense Medical Center of Taiwan in the 1970's. His mother garnered several post-graduate degrees in Naturopathic Medicine, Physical Therapy, and Oriental Medicine. Together, Ray's parents were instrumental in establishing standards and credentialing in the State of Texas, and part of the first cohort to be licensed by the Texas State Board of Acupuncture Examiners under the Texas Medical Board.

He graduated from the National Taiwan University in Taiwan (an institution equivalent to Harvard University) and has lived and practiced in the United States for 31 years.
