Dr. Henry Li has over 30 years of clinical practice and biomedical research experience in both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). He received his M.D. from Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China and Ph.D. in Pathology from Medical School of Tohoku University in Japan. He is board certified in Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture, and Chinese Herbology by the NCCAOM in the United States, and is a licensed Acupuncturist in Texas.

His father chartered acupuncture research for National Defense Medical Center of Taiwan in the 1970's. His mother garnered several post-graduate degrees in Naturopathic Medicine, Physical Therapy, and Oriental Medicine. Together, Ray's parents were instrumental in establishing standards and credentialing in the State of Texas, and part of the first cohort to be licensed by the Texas State Board of Acupuncture Examiners under the Texas Medical Board.
