"I believe that natural medicine is safe, effective, and powerful. Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture often provides the most effective treatment that is least invasive and has the fewest side-effects. Everyone deserves the right to the best health care possible, and Traditional Chinese Medicine should be a part of everyone's choice. I have a special interest in treating gynecological disorders including fertility, supporting patients going through cancer treatment, and helping resolve stress disorders."

"I fell in love with Oriental Medicine over 35 years ago and for three decades I have focused on learning everything possible about acupuncture, tai chi/qi gong and Asian dietary practices to assist my patients. I use a multi-disciplinary approach because I have found each person's health to be a fascinating puzzle. As I learn about all the connecting pieces of their puzzle, I help patients put those pieces back together to form a healthy, harmonious whole. Moving forward, this rediscovery of wellbeing and ease in their bodies, allows patients to learn how they can keep their bodies in balance."

"I specialize in Neuro-Acupuncture. I have used it for ten years to help stroke and brain surgery patients recover. Neuro-Acupuncture is based on classical Chinese acupuncture techniques and neuroscience. It is also called Scalp Acupuncture because it is done by inserting needles into the fatty layer of the scalp to stimulate underlying brain cells. Neuro-Acupuncture is extremely safe and effective. It requires very few needles and effects are immediately seen. Other than post-stroke and brain surgery therapy Neuro-Acupuncture treats many neurological problems: Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury, PTSD, Cerebral Palsy, and Autism."

Acupuncture in 60025 - is it right for me?
Acupuncture is based on the concepts of oriental medicine or traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and is one of the oldest healing practices in the world. 60025 acupuncturists are health care professionals who evaluate and treat the many conditions, aches and pains that respond to acupuncture.

Acupuncturists insert very fine acupuncture needles into the body. The purpose of the needles is to stimulate acupuncture points or meridians. The needles do not inject any substance into your body and are so fine as to be virtually impossible to feel. In some cases, acupuncture may be accompanied by electrical stimulation or the burning of moxa, a form of heat therapy. Or use acupressure, where physical pressure is applied by hand or elbow to trigger points with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians.

'Accupuncture' and 'Accupuncturist' are common mis-spellings.
