In addition, Dr. Wan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Pharmacology from the University of Arizona, School of Medicine, which give her a significant insight and valuable experiences in both Eastern and Western Medicine. With her unique and in depth knowledge, Dr. Wan has been using acupuncture, evidence-based herbal remedies, dietary supplements, exercise and lifestyle counseling to help her patients overcome obstacles to their health.

I have been practicing and teaching acupuncture and oriental medicine for 30 years. I earned both an M.S. and a Ph.D. in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in China. In the U.S., I started applying my trade at the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2010 and earned my acupuncture license in Texas in 2012.One of the projects in which I participated, the use of acupuncture to prevent dementia, received national and governmental awards. I have also published over 20 research papers on acupuncture and oriental medicine.
