Since 2002, Akron-based Summit Acupuncture has helped patients throughout Northeast Ohio improve their health by treating a range of conditions. While treatment is mainly acupuncture, gua sha, cupping, tui na and Chinese herbal medicine and Chinese dietary therapy are often used in conjunction with acupuncture.
Chinese medicine has a long history of being used to enhance fertility. More recently, it's been used with assisted reproductive techniques, such as in vitro fertilization, to improve results. Most types of infertility can be treated with acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapy, either alone or with conventional techniques.
Kirsten is specialty boarded in Oriental Reproductive medicine by the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM).
