Dr.Frank Zhao is an Acupuncture expert who has been practicing for over 40 years. He graduated from Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and obtained his MD in TCM in 1984. He obtained his MD & Ph.D. in Neurology and Neurologic Science from Tokyo Medical and Dental University. Hello, My name is Yoonyoung and I am a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Acupuncture is based on the idea that a patient’s pain or illness is caused by interruption to the flow of Qi (one’s life energy) in the body. Acupuncture identifies the specific points on the body that corresponds to the condition (acupuncture points) and uses special needles to stimulate those points so that the patient can regain the healthy flow of Qi. As a Chinese medicine practitioner, I view any illness in the context of the whole person. My treatment goes beyond the obvious symptom to the root cause of the illness.
