I am a licensed acupuncturist with M.D. and Ph.D. degrees. I obtained MD degree from Taishan Medical College and practiced Internal Medicine for 6 years, then I studied Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shanghai University of TCM for 6 years and attained PhD degree. I practiced acupuncture and herbal medicine together with medical practice for another more than 10 years before I came to the United States. In addition to relieve various pain and manage stress/anxiety, I am also specialized in treating aging related problems, women's health, sexual dysfunction, side-effects of chemo- radio-therapies, and skin disorders.

Dr. Alexander Ly has a Master's degree in Science and is a registered doctor of Chinese medicine, herbalist, and certified acupuncturist. He founded the first Acupuncture clinic in Florence, Alabama in 1982 and later went on to establish several other clinical branches in Alabama and Tennessee. With over forty years of experiences and teach of many students, Alexander is an expert in Chinese medicine and the most experienced Acupuncturist in the Southeast area. Having treated thousands of patients for over thirty-one years, Alex has a reputation as a compassionate and gifted healer.

Working with people for over 24 years in Knoxville area...all conditions treated, with an emphasis on pain issues. I believe the patient and I work together, with God's help, to bring balance back into their lives. I've learned over the years that listening closely to people is one of the most helpful modalities. I use acupuncture, herbs, exercise and nutritional counseling to effect the needed changes. I enjoy helping people get well! After many years of doing this I know it's a team effort, and look forward to helping people achieve their wellness goals.

I am moved by each person's path toward their own healing, and I believe that the patient should have just as much investment in their healing process as the practicioner. It is a great privilege to act as a facilitator through this process. Whether a person is trying to resolve chronic back pain or get pregnant, my goal is to help people get to the root cause of their issue.

My goal of acupuncture practice is to help patients recover health and normal functionality as soon as possible with natural way. I think health doesn't just mean lack of disease, but state of well-being. I treat my patients with sympathy and passion. I research and study for the best and most efficient way to treat conditions of my patients. I have offices in Nashville, Clarksville, and Bowling Green, KY.

I am a NCCAOM Board Certified Diplomat of Acupuncture with State Licensing. I graduated at the top of my class and bring an additional 20+ years experience, as an RN, specializing in emergency room nursing. I provide a integrated perspective to healing and treat the root causes of disease while addressing the individual as a whole. I help provide individuals with the information they need for prevention of disease. I also help provide the skills patients need to heal themselves in a more balanced and lasting manner

Dr Li Zhang, LAC.was born and raised in a medical family in China; She got her MD.degree from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) since 1991; received her master degree majored in acupuncture and Chinese herb in1996 from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). She is a licensed acupuncturist with over twenty years experience. She has earned diplomates in Acupuncture and diplomate in Chinese Herbology from NCCAOM. With her education and work experience she has a great knowledge in combining acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to treat various chronic disease, male and female diseases, and pain.
