During this time I have worked with professional athletes, musicians, recreational athletes, adults and children. My passion is taking someone who is acutely out of balance and seeing them through to full function. I do this by integrating acupuncture, acupressure, exercise, nutrition, breathing techniques, herbal therapies, and nutriceuticals.

I am a practitioner of traditional Japanese acupuncture and have studied extensively with master acupuncturist Koji Ichihashi of the Kurumadani School of Japan. Japanese acupuncture technique involves shallow insertion of very thin, delicate needles into points along the Meridians of the body. It is a relaxing spa-like treatment that is gentle and essentially pain free. This style incorporates medical Shiatsu massage while the needles are in the body. I give my patients self-care education, Qigong (energy movement), nutritional counseling and suggest Chinese herbal therapies and/or supplements in a nurturing environment.

I use blood, saliva and stool tests to identify the cause of your illness and track your improvement. A complete Chinese Medicine exam; pulse and tongue reading is available at each visit along with some muscle testing. Each session gives you a sense of progress and a path toward a specific resolution in your healing process.
