I am an acupuncturist trained in China with over 27 years of clinical experience. I received my training in acupuncture and herbal medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. I received my PhD in neuroscience in US, did my post-doctorate training at Harvard/MGH and taught Acupuncture for over 20 years in Boston. I accumulated a lot of experience in treating acid reflux, Acne, AF, allergies, anxiety, excessive sweating, facial wrinkles, arthritis, asthma, back pain, bursitis, Knee pain, anxiety, colitis, cystitis, Depression, Diabetes, tinnitus, Eczema, and erectile dysfunction with acupuncture and Chinese herbs.

I came into the practice of Chinese Medicine as a patient twenty seven years ago. Receiving acupuncture for the first time was an experience of both welcome relief from pain mixed with a sense of deep relaxation. It is from that experience that I view each patient. With a background in education, I work on treatment plans that give individual focus to patient issues as well as use techniques that can accomplish a treatment goal quickly. Treatment styles include needles, laser, cupping, and non-insertive methods as required. Each patient gets gentle care and is provided with tools and techniques to help maintain good health.

I aim to help the patient bring their body into balance. Traditional Chinese Medicine looks at the body as a whole, taking into account diet as well as the fact that there may be stress in a patient's life. I work with the patient so that they fully understand their treatment plan.

I combine Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, Shiatsu, Massage, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Nutrition, Energy Work, Shamanic Healing and Breath Work, creating a unique, synergistically enhanced healing experience. I am both deeply intuitive and scientifically rational; my work moves seamlessly between modalities allowing each to enhance the healing power of the other. I am a licensed acupuncturist with over 22 years of experience in private practice. I am dedicated to bringing acupuncture and Oriental Medicine to as many people as possible. My patients are of all ages - from elementary school children to wise elders. My practice falls into 3 categories - family care, pregnancy care and senior care. I have specialized in fertility, pregnancy, and labor & delivery and postpartum care for over 16 years and have helped many women get pregnant, stay pregnant, and have healthy pregnancies, deliveries, and post-partum. I often work in conjunction with doulas, midwives, and childbirth educators.
