In addition to a Masters in Acupuncture I hold a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) specializing in women's health. DAOM is the highest academic achievement available in the US. I have completed externships at EVMS and Shuguang Hosptial affiliated with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
My doctoral training included both Oriental medicine and Western medicine, at Chinese and American medical schools. I have completed clinic rotations in Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Oncology and Endocrinology. My doctoral training focuses on Women's Health Integrative Medicine enabling me to work in cooperation with a persons western medical treatment.
