I am a co-owner and creator of Cornerstone Healing, a private Acupuncture practice located in Carroll Gardens in Brooklyn, NY. Cornerstone Healing has been in practice since 2003. Cornerstone Healing's practice is dedicated to the well being of individual patients and the community as a whole. I incorporate different modalities into my treatment plan. It can include Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, and Bodywork. Sometimes electro-stimulation will be used as well as cupping therapy. I treat a wide variety of disorders such as Musculoskeletal problems, Women's health issues, and Infertility. I believe communication and education is key to success of any treatment.

I have nearly two decades of clinical experience and I use my expertise in ethnobotany, herbal medicine, and acupuncture to heal, educate and empower patients in the greater New York City area, the greater North Carolina area, and around the world through Acupuncturists Without Borders and CapraCare.

As one member of the New York City community, my mission is to devote my skill, knowledge and experience to relieve the suffering and sustain the wellness of our neighbors in the metro area through Eastern Medicine with safe, effective, fast and economical treatment.

I graduated from Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1987. Since then, I spent over 30 years treating people with all sorts of health problems using acupuncture and/or herb medicine. Early in my practice to prevent surgery, I even self-treated an abdominal egg-sized tumor with severe abdominal pain and constipation. The experience further enhanced my desire and confidence in sharing the power and healing potential of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture with all patients in need of healing and improving health.

Dr. Li-Biao Jiao (Bill Jiao), Ph.D. LAc. CMD. He holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Tui Na from China. Licensed in New York State, he boasts over 30 years of clinical experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupuncture. Dr.Frank Zhao is an Acupuncture expert who has been practicing for over 40 years. He graduated from Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and obtained his MD in TCM in 1984. He obtained his MD & Ph.D. in Neurology and Neurologic Science from Tokyo Medical and Dental University. He was the director of the Acupuncture Dept. in China, a Research Fellow in the field of Herb and Acupuncture at Harvard Medical School. He is Vice Chairman of the World Manipulative Medical Association, Professor of New York College of Health Professions, Board Member of United Alliance of NYS Licensed Acupuncturists.
