NJCA is a community acupuncture clinic. "Community" means that everyone is treated in one big, comfy room. It also means that our fee structure is much lower than average. At NJCA, our sliding scale is between $30- $65, every time. Clients keep their clothing on and relax in reclining chairs while acupuncture treatment gently encourages their nervous system to relax, promoting healing through out the body. Acupuncture is a form of healing that can help you in body, mind and spirit.
My name is Dana Holmes. I'm the owner and primary acupuncturist at NJCA. I have over 20 years of experience in acupuncture. I'm licensed in the state of NJ, nationally certified, and hold a graduate degree from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Maryland (currently MUIH.) Patients appreciate my gentle, no-frills approach to treatment.
My original training was in Worsley 5 Element acupuncture, a branch of acupuncture that emphasizes the spiritual aspect of the work we do, but I've also had additional training in simple pain relief techniques and in working with people who have experienced trauma.
