Dr. Scapicio is an honors graduate of the Eastern School of Traditional Medicine and Acupuncture in Montclair, N.J. At the Eastern School, he was trained extensively in Traditional Chinese Medical Acupuncture, Japanese Acupuncture, and Five Element Acupuncture. He has performed clinical internships in Chinese and Japanese styles of acupuncture. Dr. Scapicio is also a board certified diplomate of acupuncture through the National Board Certification Committee of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and a licensed acupuncturist in the State of New Jersey. Prior to to his formal training as an acupuncturist, Dr. Scapicio practiced in the health care field for over 25 years.

Joanna Jodar is a board certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She is accredited by the National Certification Commission of Oriental Medicine. In addition, she is also an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist and certified in Facial Rejuvenation. Her clinical experience includes working at various hospitals in New York such as St. Vincent's Hospital, Hospital for Joint Diseases and Lincoln Hospital. She has also completed clinical rotations in numerous hospitals in Beijing, China.

I practiced in Hospital of Heilongjiang University of TCM as a licensed doctor while lecturing collage students of Heilongjiang University of TCM from 2002 for 3 years. Laura earned a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and completed the Chinese Herbal Medicine Program from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies. With this knowledge, Laura is able to combine both Eastern and Western views to create a treatment approach that is unique to each individual.
