I received my education and training in Traditional Chinese Medicine(MD), in China, Liaoning Province. My post-graduate master studies included work at Chengdu University, Sichuan Province. I have held the position of Head of Accupuncture Department at two teaching universities in China. In Philadelphia, I briefly worked at the University of Pennsylvania, Children's Hospital. Dr. Ruijuan Liu graduated from the best Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) University in China - Beijing University of TCM - with a MD degree in 1987. She worked for fourteen years in Xi-Yuan Hospital of the Chinese Academy of TCM, which is the most prestigious TCM research institute/hospital in China. She also had the privilege to be trained by the traditional method of "Learning from Top TMC Experts Program" from 1997 to 2000, which was sponsored by the China Ministry of Health.
