I am the owner and director of the Bronx Community Wellness Center, a pioneer eastern medicine clinic in the heart of Westchester Square. I also have a private located in Union Square, Manhattan. Although I treat numerous conditions, I tend to specialize in pain management, digestive disorders, emotional issues, and facial rejuvenation. My goal with every treatment is to alleviate pain, treat disease, and promote general health to prevent disease. Overall, my mission is to provide acupuncture and massage therapy that is both effective and affordable for my patients to get well and stay well.

The patients I treat best are the ones who know that there's something wrong in their lives, and are willing to work as a team with the physician to fix it. I deal with patients suffering from muscular skeletal (joint) pain, from stress, from low energy levels-sometimes to the point where they have trouble making it through the day, from all the many, many problems that accompany an imbalance in internal energy, and, first and foremost, I care for patients who find themselves unable to make an appreciable improvement in their lives through typical Western treatment methods.

I graduated from Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1987. Since then, I spent over 30 years treating people with all sorts of health problems using acupuncture and/or herb medicine. Early in my practice to prevent surgery, I even self-treated an abdominal egg-sized tumor with severe abdominal pain and constipation. The experience further enhanced my desire and confidence in sharing the power and healing potential of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture with all patients in need of healing and improving health.

As one member of the New York City community, my mission is to devote my skill, knowledge and experience to relieve the suffering and sustain the wellness of our neighbors in the metro area through Eastern Medicine with safe, effective, fast and economical treatment.

Dr.Frank Zhao is an Acupuncture expert who has been practicing for over 40 years. He graduated from Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and obtained his MD in TCM in 1984. He obtained his MD & Ph.D. in Neurology and Neurologic Science from Tokyo Medical and Dental University. He was the director of the Acupuncture Dept. in China, a Research Fellow in the field of Herb and Acupuncture at Harvard Medical School. He is Vice Chairman of the World Manipulative Medical Association, Professor of New York College of Health Professions, Board Member of United Alliance of NYS Licensed Acupuncturists.

Yuanyuan Cheng, M.S. L.Ac. is national board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She holds a Master's degree of Acupuncture in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Before coming to United States, she graduated from medical school in Hunan, China. She passed the CMD to earn the International Practitioners Qualification Certificate. She is also a board member of United Alliance of NY State Licensed Acupuncturists.
