I began my career in the mental health field as a health educator, where I worked for 17 years. In 1993 I received a breast cancer diagnosis and became interested in complementary modalities, including how to use food to heal myself and others.

I treat each patient as an individual, working with symptoms while balancing the body's energies to find a new healthy normal state. I find that with this kind of medicine, many issues resolve on the physical and emotional level. Most of my patients come in with pain syndromes, emotional issues, female health, infertility, digestive issues, and chronic illness. For chronic problems I often use herbs to support the treatment.
