Combining my experience of over 20 years as an Occupational Therapist, along with eleven years now as an Acupuncturist, I bring a compassionate, trauma informed study and hands on body wisdom to your treatment. The utilization of this palpatory approach provides diagnosis as well as an instant measure of treatment effectiveness, which you will realize in real time. Both Western and Traditional Eastern medicine have their respective strengths and weaknesses. It is my belief, when they are appropriately combined, the patient is well served.

I practice Chinese Acupuncture and Herbology not only to treat a variety of physical symptoms but also as a preventative to many common conditions and ailments. I bring to my practice extensive knowledge of the body gained from my training as a physician and Ob/Gyn in China, and through my 18 years as an practicing acupuncturist. At our clinic we work holistically in both our diagnosis (TCM) and treatment. We believe that pain and disease both manifest from imbalances in Qi, which is the fundamental energy flowing through us. An imbalance in Qi can cause many problems throughout the body.

I'd like people to know that I can treat more than one issue in a session and that most problems will be better within 3 visits. I have had much success with clients with low back pain and those experiencing stress and anxiety. People suffering with migraines or cluster headaches have had total relief for months at a time. I like to do gua sha on clients with colds or bronchitis as I have seen some great results with this technique. If you suffer from side effects from medications, I have a detox treatment that will decrease your symptoms.
