My name is Barbara Paul and through the energy healing practices of Acupuncture, Chinese nutrition and herbs, Tuina (Chinese massage), Shiatsu and Qi Gong, I create a treatment plan that addresses each individual's needs. I treat not only the symptoms, but also the root of the illness, thus restoring balance upon which holistic health is based.

Through my practice as a naturopathic physician and acupuncturist I am continually learning from my patients as they demonstrate their resilience and unique gifts while moving through health challenges. Whether I am helping a woman during the transition of menopause or lessening the pain of an athlete’s shoulder or supporting a person as he lets go of his long time dependency to pain medications, I am honored to be invited into each person’s process of healing and recovery.

Staying true to the origins of classical Chinese medicine, with its philosophical roots embedded in the ideals of virtue, compassion, and wisdom, my approach to healing is carefully focused on the needs of each individual. This includes moving away from the pathological model of medicine that has plagued the modern healthcare system and turning my attention instead to my patients' optimal health and wellbeing. Having been in practice since 1997, my extensive education and clinical practice has deeply informed my ability to effectively treat each patient.
