Dis-ease, whether physical, spiritual or mental presents itself on the body. These reflex or painful areas can be identified by feeling or palpating the body and then released by needling specific release points, providing immediate relief so you feel better ASAP.
Similarly, when practicing massage, the goal is immediate improvement of your well being, regardless of whether to just relax or re-align the musculature to relieve or prevent pain. Much of the work I do is to address a specific area, such as shoulder or neck.
