Meirong Wang LAc graduated from China's Chengdu University of TCM in 1991 with a Bachelor in Medicine degree. She has more than 20 years of clinical practice in Acupuncture and Moxibustion as well as Chinese herbal medicine. She is now concurrently teaching acupuncture and supervising clinical work at South Baylo (Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) University VA Campus as well as practicing in NOVA Acupuncture & Moxibustion Clinic.

With more than 40 years experience, I would like to provide natural healing treatments to whoever needs help. For example, people who suffer chronic pains, need help for infertility, as well as those who seek for natural and safe treatments.

My patients are aged from 2 month-old to 91 year-old. Mostly of them feel symptom relieved, more relaxed, more energetic and healthier in general well being.

We use an holistic approach to healing, combining the best of Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, Chinese herbs, diet and qigong to help patients become and stay healthy. Nationally certified by NCCAOM and in Virginia, I bring over 25 years of experience in western and Chinese medicine. Having trained and practiced as a doctor at the prestigious Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I moved with my family to the U.S. and subsequently studied to be licensed as an R.N. I have worked at Fairfax INOVA Hospital for over 9 years. My mission is to augment the marvels of western medicine with the wisdom and skill of treating the whole body so that its systems and connections work optimally.
