About
As a retired professional ballet dancer, I have dedicated most of my life to the study of movement. I have always been fascinated with the human body and how it works. Once I stopped performing, it seemed only natural that I would gravitate toward a profession in the field of bodywork. Acupuncture was always helpful to me while I was dancing and I felt that practicing this amazing medicine would give me the opportunity to help others in the same way I was helped throughout my career. I am always excited to meet new patients and to help them reach their health goals!
I specialize in pain management and women's health. These two areas are important to me both because of my background in dance and my studies in China at Chengdu University Hospital of TCM. I am also a Certified Provider of Hospice and Palliative Care Acupuncture, a service that has been close to my heart since my step-dad passed away from brain cancer.
I am very excited to be practicing in my new space here in Tucson! I spend quality time with each patient, truly listening to their concerns and utilizing many modalities including: acupuncture, cupping, moxa, gua sha, lifestyle/dietary advice, and/or an herbal consultation.
