I believe that everyone can benefit from acupuncture even if they are apparently healthy. A preventative treatment will assess the imbalances in the person addressing such issues as stress and strengthening the immune system. I remember reading that a person gets sick first on an energetic level before manifesting any outward symptoms. An acupuncturist's task is to keep the person healthy as much as possible before getting to the symptom stage.
For the interested client I offer supplements as well as Chinese herbs through an associate in the Metuchen office and Qigong, a Chinese exercise to increase energy.
One of my specialty areas is in the field of infertility where I have enjoyed some success with conception through natural means, IVF, or some other kinds of assisted reproductive technologies.
Another of my favorite areas is trigger point therapy on back pain and joint problems.
