I am a California Board and Nationally certified acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist. My specialty is in emotional concerns such as anxiety, stress, depression, and PTSD. I also specialize in Women's Health, including menopause, PMS, irregular/painful menses, breast health, and fertility issues. I am a practitioner of traditional Japanese acupuncture and have studied extensively with master acupuncturist Koji Ichihashi of the Kurumadani School of Japan. Japanese acupuncture technique involves shallow insertion of very thin, delicate needles into points along the Meridians of the body. It is a relaxing spa-like treatment that is gentle and essentially pain free. This style incorporates medical Shiatsu massage while the needles are in the body. I give my patients self-care education, Qigong (energy movement), nutritional counseling and suggest Chinese herbal therapies and/or supplements in a nurturing environment.
