I am a California licensed acupuncturist. I focus on pulse diagnosis, Shanghan pulse methodology and Chinese herbal medicine. Additionally, I delved into research on the motion acupuncture in pain treatment and abdominal diagnosis. My professional scope includes not only pain management and internal medicine but also areas such as emotional management, pediatric ADHD, and Infertility.

I am a practitioner of traditional Japanese acupuncture and have studied extensively with master acupuncturist Koji Ichihashi of the Kurumadani School of Japan. Japanese acupuncture technique involves shallow insertion of very thin, delicate needles into points along the Meridians of the body. It is a relaxing spa-like treatment that is gentle and essentially pain free. This style incorporates medical Shiatsu massage while the needles are in the body. I give my patients self-care education, Qigong (energy movement), nutritional counseling and suggest Chinese herbal therapies and/or supplements in a nurturing environment.

My approach to health is collaborative and holistic; I want to understand who you are and how the imbalance/pain/disease originated, so that we can help the body heal. I typically employ deep acupressure before doing acupuncture, a unique style, and use food, herbs and supplements to strengthen the body. Oliver's journey into healing arts began in 1982. As a practitioner of acupuncture and Chinese medicine who specializes in Traumatology (Ditda-Shangke), he received extensive apprenticeship training in the States, Hong Kong, and Beijing under several reputable first-generation physicians, esoteric healers of Eastern medicine, and venerable masters of traditional martial arts since childhood.
