Being an integrative medicine physician, board-certified psychiatrist, and a fifth generation traditional Chinese doctor and acupuncturist, I recognize and address all aspects of mind, body and spirit in the health of every patient who comes to see me, even when the initial reason for consultation and treatment was for physical or emotional disorders alone. I treat physical dysfunctions that no structural causes can be found such as irritable bowel syndrome, impotence, insomnia, infertility, fatigue, incontinence, tinnitus, etc. It could be social behavior problems, such as addiction to food, chemical substances, sex,, gambling etc.
It could be emotional and cognitive issues such as depression, anxiety, mood swings, phobia, attention deficit, etc. It could be acute condition such as skeletal muscular pain, sinusitis, headache, and chronic conditions such as cancer, hypertension, diabetes and heart diseases.
