In early 2000's I began explore various healing methods, completing 1000 hours in Acupressure and Somatic Movement Therapy then begun to study Five Element Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 2001.
My diverse training emphasizing acupuncture and encompassing other modalities, allows me to asses your needs and symptoms and create individualized treatments by combining my knowledge of nutrition, mental health, Chinese Medicine, and Somatic Movement Therapy. I remain a student and am continuously learning new ways for people to achieve self-mastery through healthy sustainable habits. I began my career in the mental health field as a health educator, where I worked for 17 years. In 1993 I received a breast cancer diagnosis and became interested in complementary modalities, including how to use food to heal myself and others.

Health is a culmination of all actions and choices taken during our lifetime. Life is a journey that is recording in every cell of our body. Patterns are created, habits get more entrenched and, at some point in our life, we find the need to work and survive replacing that sense of balance and wellbeing. So, we just keep going. What if it was possible to enjoy better health? If you are tired and disappointed about how you feel, come see me. Together we will create a treatment plan based on the principles of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. A wholistic plan that fits your life, your lifestyle, and your healthcare goals.

Experience healing in a whole new light. Imagine being met with presence, treated with care and respect and being guided to wholeness, all the while noticing that week by week, you start to feel better. As symptoms disappear, you feel more vital, clear and your desire to actively participate and engage in life increases. This describes the experience of many patients of New Dawn Healing Arts. This is why they continue to refer their mothers, sisters, husbands, bosses and best friends.

Acupuncture in Stockbridge - is it right for me?
Acupuncture is based on the concepts of oriental medicine or traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and is one of the oldest healing practices in the world. Stockbridge acupuncturists are health care professionals who evaluate and treat the many conditions, aches and pains that respond to acupuncture.

Acupuncturists insert very fine acupuncture needles into the body. The purpose of the needles is to stimulate acupuncture points or meridians. The needles do not inject any substance into your body and are so fine as to be virtually impossible to feel. In some cases, acupuncture may be accompanied by electrical stimulation or the burning of moxa, a form of heat therapy. Or use acupressure, where physical pressure is applied by hand or elbow to trigger points with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians.

'Accupuncture' and 'Accupuncturist' are common mis-spellings.
