I have worked at Fairfax INOVA Hospital for over 9 years. Acupuncture improves the body's functions and promotes the natural self-healing process by stimulating specific anatomic sites. The most common method used to stimulate acupoints is the insertion of fine, sterile needles into the skin. Pressure, heat, or electrical stimulation may further enhance the effects. Other acupoint stimulation techniques include: acupressure/tui-na massage, moxibustion or heat therapy, cupping.

I received a Masters of Oriental Medicine by the International Institute of Chinese Medicine, achieved a certification in Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM and am currently a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Virginia.
