As a retired professional ballet dancer, I have dedicated most of my life to the study of movement. I have always been fascinated with the human body and how it works. Once I stopped performing, it seemed only natural that I would gravitate toward a profession in the field of bodywork. Acupuncture was always helpful to me while I was dancing and I felt that practicing this amazing medicine would give me the opportunity to help others in the same way I was helped throughout my career. I am always excited to meet new patients and to help them reach their health goals!

I am a career healthcare provider with a 23-year Western medical ICU background prior to entering the field of acupuncture/TCM. My experience as an RCP-NPS at some of the top teaching/research hospitals in the US - and abroad - uniquely informs my integrative approach to treatment. For the past 12 years, the practice of TCM has allowed me to bring the most modern scientific understanding to the truly comprehensive holistic approach on which this ancient healing system is premised. I received my MAOM in 2012; completed doctoral studies at Five Branches University San Jose in 2023. I practice in both the Wash DC and Tucson areas.

I am NCCAOM board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology, practicing in Tucson for 29 years. I enjoy treating people who want to learn about their health and I consider my role as a teacher to be crucial. I have full raw, granule, and patent herbal medicine pharmacies at my clinic at Tucson Natural Medicine Center. Acupuncture, herbs, and lifestyle modification were the dominant healthcare in Asia for thousands of years. Ancient doctors had the foresight to document their medical practice. It is not surprising that conventional medicine is looking back to this tradition for solutions and acupuncture has been the leading "alternative" medicine for years.
