At Tai Chi Acupuncture & Wellness Center our goal is to create healthier and happier people by providing quality care and alternative healing therapies to those in need. The unique combination of my experiences shaped my philosophy of my career: as a disciple of the royal branch of traditional Chinese medicine, I shall be humble and respectful to all my patients; as an educator I shall be warm-hearted and honest; as a scientist, I shall be open-minded and always keep my knowledge abreast with the most advanced understanding in life sciences. I am both deeply intuitive and scientifically rational; my work moves seamlessly between modalities allowing each to enhance the healing power of the other. The integration of deep structural massage, subtle energy work, and transformative breath and spirit work leaves one feeling deeply satisfied and vital.

Have 27 years of clinic experiences in Chinese and Western Medicine. Have been practicing in Boston since 2000. Graduate of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, the most prestigious institution of traditional Chinese medicine in China. I use customized acupuncture points and herbal formula to address the root cause of acid reflux, acne, AF, allergies, anxiety, excessive sweating, facial wrinkles, arthritis, asthma, back pain, bursitis, COPD, colitis, cystitis, depression, diabetes, tinnitus, eczema, and erectile dysfunction with acupuncture and Chinese herbs. Dr. K.Zhang holds a PhD degree from Fujian Medical University and a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) in Chinese acupuncture from New England School of Acupuncture (NESA), MCPHS and the pain program from Tufts University School of Medicine. Before coming to US, Dr. Zhang had practiced in China for years. He is a national Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, certified by NCCAOM, and is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine to practice acupuncture in the state. He is also a research scientist in Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM).

Tybee Marruzzi is a Cohasset-based acupuncturist who has provided high-quality care on Boston's South Shore for over 20 years. She is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine, and board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in both acupuncture and Chinese herbology. She has a Master of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science located in San Diego.

I am an acupuncturist trained in China with over 27 years of clinical experience. I have written 4 books: Acupuncture & Hormone Balance, Chinese Acupuncture and Herbs for Common Diseases, Acupuncture and Infertility and ED and Prostate Problems. i specialize in helping clients to know themselves. the stresses we carry infringe on many parts of our lives, both physically and emotionally. i offer each of my clients individual care, and assessment of all injuries with a unique perspective which often offers a plan to recovery. this may include techniques to deal with anxiety or sleep issues, or an exercise regimen based on 25+ years of yoga therapy trainings.in addition i have studied extensively in both eastern and western herbal medicine, which is helpful in all cases, but especially w infertility.

Jeffrey S. Wernick, Lic. Ac., LICSW is a Licensed Acupuncturist with the Massachusetts Board of Medicine and Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine since 1984. He is a graduate of Queens College and the New England School of Acupuncture. He has been affiliated with the Shattuck hospital Pain and Stress Clinic, Massachusetts Osteopathic Hospital, Brockton Pain Management Group, and Kushi Institute.

I have over 20 years of experience in clinical practice of acupuncture/herbal medicine/nutrition in China, Canada & USA. My ideal patient is one who is willing to be a co creator in their health process. I specialize in digestive disorders, immune issues, pain, hormonal issues and fatigue. I treat all ages. I use acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Ayurvedic dietary and lifestyle recommendations and muscle response testing to identify core imbalances as well as herbal and nutritional recommendations. I use the simple tenets of acupuncture to increase circulation, decrease inflammation and calm the nervous system. That takes care of physical pain and stress which can upset digestion, sleep and even a woman's cycle. This helps patients by teaching their bodies how to help themselves.

I became interested in natural healing techniques a long time ago. Considering the potential side effects of medicines commonly prescribed, I thought it worthwhile to study alternative methods of healing. Initially, I trained in Shiatsu and Massage Therapy, I graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture in 1984. My post-graduate studies involved extensive training in Chinese Herbal Medicine.

I am a Licensed Acupuncturist with a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from the New England School of Acupuncture. Most patients I see have some type of pain, lower back, sciatic, tennis elbow, arthritis just to name a few. I also am certified by Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York for the treatment of cancer patients using acupuncture.
